Job Description

We require a committed experienced individual to join our creative team on a freelance basis as a spoken word workshop facilitator, showing participants how to use language effectively in addition to helping them to develop excellent verbal communication skills, including projection, articulation and engaging stage presence.

Experience in performance and knowledge of poetry slams, and other performance events to gain would be beneficial.

The Company

SevenThreeOne is a non-profit organisation that uses the Creative Industries to further the education and skills of serving prisoners, ex-offenders and disengaged young people. One of the ways we do this is through the provision of training centres based within Prisons and the Community.

Our Ideal Candidate

Will be an imaginative and creative individual with a superior and precise vocabulary and the ability to compose own poetry or demonstrate previously written works.

They will be self-motivated with attention to detail and the ability and commitment to work within a small team or independently, in addition to the dedication, energy and resolve needed to make a significant difference to the lives of serving prisoners.
