Job Description

Cat Tech is recognised as a world leader in the provision of Catalyst Handling services for the refining, chemical, petrochemical, and processing industries.
We are looking for a highly organised and hands-on

Workshop Manager

to join our operations team.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience managing stores, workshops, or logistics in an industrial or engineering environment. A background in catalyst handling, petrochemical, or maintenance services is beneficial but not essential. The role requires strong planning, problem-solving and stock control abilities, along with a proactive approach to safety and compliance.

Responsibilities:



Oversee the day-to-day operation of the workshop and stores Ensure accurate receiving, issuing, and tracking of materials, tools, and equipment Maintain up-to-date records and ensure all stock is correctly labelled and traceable Inspect and service equipment before and after projects, ensuring readiness and safety Coordinate the dispatch and return of equipment across regional and international sites Ensure compliance with Health & Safety and COSHH regulations at all times Liaise with other Cat Tech regions to support intercompany equipment movement Participate in audits, inspections, and continuous improvement initiatives Supervise and support workshop staff where required

Key Requirements:



Experience in a workshop, warehouse, or logistics management role Knowledge of H&S, COSHH, and inventory control procedures Excellent organisational, communication, and administrative skills Proficient in Microsoft Office and confident managing stock systems FLT licence and valid driving licence preferred Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently Comfortable working in a fast-paced, safety-focused environment
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: 30,000.00-35,000.00 per year
