We are seeking a dedicated and skilled person to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have a valid forklift certificate and be familiar with a factory environment.
This role involves loading and unloading of vehicles, signing off deliveries both in and out of the factory, sorting materials for each job on a daily basis, generally helping out as needed operating the machines and assembly of products. The candidate will contribute to the efficient operation of our manufacturing facility, focusing on precision and attention to detail.
Duties
Operate a forklift.
Handle materials appropriately, ensuring proper storage and organisation within the warehouse.
Assemble components according to specifications, maintaining quality standards throughout the process.
Use of hand tools for various tasks, demonstrating proficiency in their use, assisting in the operation of machinery (full training will be provided)
Ensure paperwork is checked and in order.
Apply basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to production tasks.
Collaborate with team members to enhance workflow and address any production challenges.
Experience
Previous experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment is preferred.
Must hold a valid forklift certificate and experienced using a forklift
Some knowledge, particularly in the operation of machinery and equipment.
Experience with materials handling practices is advantageous.
