Workshop Operative (x2 Positions)

Start Date: Monday 5th January 2026

Enhance Sliding Wardrobes is a long-established, family-run business specialising in the design, manufacture and installation of high-quality fitted furniture across Northern Ireland. As our workload continues to grow, we are recruiting two Workshop Operatives to join our production team.

About the Role

This is a hands-on, varied position within our workshop, supporting the manufacture of bespoke sliding, hinged and walk-in wardrobes and matching furniture. You'll work closely with our production team and, when required, assist our fitter on-site as a helper.

Your main responsibilities will include:

Workshop Duties:

Cutting, edging and assembling carcasses and components Operating workshop machinery and hand tools General workshop maintenance and housekeeping Loading and unloading materials Assisting with daily workflow as directed by the production team

Fitting Assistance (as required):

Travelling with our fitter to customer homes Helping with lifting, carrying and moving materials Assisting with installation tasks under guidance Ensuring a tidy and professional work environment on-site

What We're Looking For

Practical, hands-on attitude Ability to use basic tools and follow instructions Strong work ethic and willingness to learn Good teamwork and communication skills Reliable, punctual and well-presented Full UK driving licence (advantageous but not essential)
Experience in joinery, workshop environments or fitted furniture is beneficial, but full training will be provided.
