AB Hoses & Fittings LTD have been based in Chesterfield for over 35 years.

We have over 35 years' experience in supply and installation of hydraulic, hydrostatic and cooling system components.

An opportunity has arisen for a Workshop Operative manufacturing hydraulic hose assemblies and other safety critical railway equipment.

It is important that candidates have a high attention to detail and produce the product to the requested and desired finish.

Key Responsibilities

Carry out the planned workload To learn and develop all aspects of skills required on production Assemble customer orders with accuracy and attention to detail Work proactively as a member of the production team Maintain the cleanliness and tidiness of the workshop to ensure all staff continue to work in a safe and pleasant environment To always observe safe working practices Health and Safety adherence

Teamwork

Participate in always promoting a team approach. Be polite, courteous and supportive to all team members. Work in accordance with training and agreed policies, practices and procedures. Ensure issues of concern are elevated to a more knowledgeable member of staff if the situation requires specific expertise.

Personal Development

To undertake training as required. This may include attending training courses outside your place of work.

General

Work to agreed standards in line with company policies and procedures. Have a flexible attitude to working arrangements. Any other duties as reasonably requested, relative to the objectives of the post.

Work Hours

Monday - Friday

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: From 12.21 per hour - To be reviewed after 3 months probation.

Expected hours: 40 per week
