Workshop Operative
Job Description
Flexmetallic Industries are looking for and energetic person with the desire to get involved with all aspects of the hose production process within the workshop. The successful candidate will join our small, but growing team based on the outskirts of Northampton. This will be a varied role consisting of a variety of duties including:
Use of computer system for receipting and despatching orders
Checking goods for quality
Basic assembly related work
Hose testing
Final inspection and finishing of manufactured products
General housekeeping and maintenance of the workshop and equipment.
Adhering to the company's health and safety policies
Leading by example and helping the business grow.
Flexibility with work patterns and times to meet the requirements of the business.
Skills:
Good level of basic Maths and English Experience in a workshop environment preferable
Personal Attributes:
Hands on and prepared to get stuck in to meet the customers needs A proactive, positive and "can do" attitude. To be able to work accurately and have attention to detail. Able to work on own initiative as well as part of a team on tasks sometimes unrelated to the job description. Genuinely interested in the business and its development

Previous experience is not necessary,
