Company:



We are a family run waste management company based in Romsey, Hampshire which has been established for 37 years.

We offer the complete range of waste management services including skips, wheelie bins, roll on roll off containers, tippers, tipper-grabs, compactors, boxed tipper and tonne bags. We also have a portable toilet division - Ace Loos.

We produce recycled aggregates from our on-site wash plant which are retailed to customers for delivery or collection from our site.

We are currently recruiting for a Workshop Parts Administrator to join the team.

The Role:



This role reports to the workshop manager and is a full-time position at our Romsey Workshop and is a key role for the operational success of the business. The role will focus on managing supplier relationships and will involve working closely with suppliers. It is a diverse role, covering technical and non-technical buying, and managing how purchased items flow through the business to the point of installation. The successful candidate will be an enthusiastic individual with previous experience in a similar purchasing role.

The main elements to the role:

? Procuring parts and consumables for Vehicles and Plant and the wider business

? Stock control

?Workshop administration, creating and completing electronic job sheets as required.

?Booking 3rd Party/warranty repairs as required

?Collecting parts locally if required

Key Responsibilities:



? Sourcing and placement of orders for contract and non-contract items using digital parts requisition systems

? ??Negotiation of lower pricing whenever possible.

? Maintenance of supplier details on the procurement system

? Responsible for monitoring supplier performance

? Maintenance of minimum stock levels against parts system requirements.

? Progress and chase outstanding PO's in liaison with Workshop Manager

? Close any completed PO's after checking against supplier invoice

? Control goods inwards, and stock management

? Assist in other areas of the Company as required against reasonable requests

Requirements:



The successful candidate will;

? Have a proven history in working as a buyer in a small to medium enterprise.

? Knowledge of automotive parts

? Be flexible and an excellent communicator.

? Have a can-do attitude, working well on own initiative as well as being part of the wider team

Desirable Experience:



? Proficient in MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, Teams, etc.)

? Driving Licence

? R2C Experience

Hours



8.30 to 17.00 Monday to Friday (part-time may be an option)
