Job Description

We are looking for an additional workshop based PDI fitter to join the team. To service, maintain, PDI and carry out minor repairs on our plant and machinery. The role will be working at the Tewkesbury depot. The successful person will ideally have previous experience have excellent mechanical skills, whether qualified or from an apprentice trained background with a good mechanical foundation on engines and hydraulics.

Applicants who have experience with construction plant, agricultural equipment or similar background will transfer well and be happy to work in a team or on ones own. Have good attention to detail and be very thorough in their work ethic

Will need to have a full clean driving licence. You will be working on plant equipment such as diggers, excavators, dumpers, rollers, small construction tools etc. This is an excellent opportunity to work for a friendly organisation.

The Role: Carrying out Pre Delivery Inspections, servicing and repairs. Completing relevant paperwork and be computer literate.

The Plant is made up of up predominantly Kubota, JCB and Thwaites.

Basic 42.5 hours per week Monday to Friday 7.30am to 5.00pm.Overtime paid at time and a half. Salary depending on experience and qualifications.

23 days holiday a year plus bank holidays.
