Job Description

Miller's Vanguard, a Specialist Maintenance Provider for Bakery, Catering and Supermarket Access Equipment are looking for an experienced technician to join their workshop-based team at Mossfield Mill. The purpose of the role is primarily the stripping of Bakery & Catering equipment. Whilst working individually for the most part, the successful candidate will also be part of a strong team, working together to meet targets and maintain quality of the highest standard, providing reliable assets to some of the UK's leading supermarkets.

Responsibilities:

Strip bakery and catering equipment in preparation for refurbishment or reconditioning.

Complete tasks efficiently and to a high standard within specified timeframes.

Identify and report any damaged components requiring replacement or repair before handover to the Re-Build Department.

Collaborate effectively with the workshop team to maximize efficiency.

Undertake other reasonable duties as assigned by the Workshop Manager.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

Prior experience working with catering and bakery equipment.

Proficiency in using hand tools and bench fitting techniques.

Demonstrated integrity and a strong drive to achieve results.

A conscientious and detail-oriented work ethic.

Proven ability to work collaboratively within a team.

A positive and proactive attitude.

A hands-on Technician looking to advance their experience and opportunity will find this position well-suited. The successful candidate will receive the necessary training to perform to a high standard and will have opportunities for further development through instruction and mentoring from current workshop staff.
