We are creating a new post of
Workshop Superviso
r to set up our equipment repair and servicing department within Engineering. You will supervise a group of engineers to ensure we can promote a culture of in-house repair and maintenance thus reducing Oceanscan's dependency on third-party service providers. As
Workshop Supervisor
you will serve as the primary point of contact for ongoing repairs, client recharges, and the servicing of external equipment.
Candidates should hold:
HNC or equivalent in a relevant area; Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or Engineering Systems.
Experience of supervising other engineers
Sound technical skills to service, test/interface and repair of electronic survey and NDT equipment.
Further skills essential to this position include:
Exceptional attention to detail
An ability to work unsupervised
Experience of working to a high standard
Good communication skills and technical knowledge
Ability to work flexibly including offshore and on-call
Solid experience of Microsoft Office Suite and databases
