The role

As a Workshop Supervisor - Military Vehicles, you\'ll have a role that\'s out of the ordinary. You\'ll provide first line management to the shop floor and ensure incoming work is planned.

Day to day, you\'ll manage and lead compliance around target quality, engineering hygiene and application/sustainment of 5S.

  • Manage people in line with people related policies (e.g., starter/leaver, attendance/absence, flexi management, recognition, expenses/allowance claims, code of conduct, behavioural issues).
  • Manage demands for tooling/consumables/PPE, ensuring teams have what they need while working within budgets and targets.
  • Effectively communicate company and/or local information to team members ensuring messages are flowed down and received by front line team members.
This is a full-time, hybrid role based at Bovington - working four days on site per week.

Essential experience of the Workshop Supervisor - Military Vehicles:
  • Previous supervisor experience is desirable.
  • Ideally from an automotive or mechanical engineering background.
Qualifications for the Workshop Supervisor - Military Vehicles:
  • NVQ in vehicle maintenance and repair is desirable.
The successful candidate must be able to achieve SC security clearance for this role.
