What you will be doing
Take full ownership of workshop fabrication and production, making sure every project is delivered to a high standard on time .
Lead and motivate a talented team of fabricators and welders, driving quality, safety, and performance across every job.
Manage fabrication workflows, from ISO drawings and cutting lists to outsourced prefabrication.
Plan, schedule, and prioritise workloads, keeping production running smoothly and efficiently.
Champion quality assurance, ensuring all welded pipework meets ISO9000 standards and dimensional accuracy.
Maintain up-to-date RAMS, equipment certifications, and safety compliance documentation.
Oversee materials, transport, and logistics, ensuring projects have everything they need to succeed.
Continuously look for ways to improve processes, boost productivity, and enhance workshop performance.
Skills & Experience Required
Strong leadership experience in a pipework fabrication workshop
Solid understanding of pipework fabrication, welding processes, ISO drawings, and QA/QC standards.
Strong knowledge of welding standards, material certification, ISO9000 procedures, and NCR processes.
Confident in maintaining Health & Safety compliance, including Risk Assessments and Method Statements (RAMS).
Skilled at planning production schedules, managing workloads, and ensuring deadlines are met.
Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams and with clients.
Experience in production planning, inventory management, and team supervision.
Background in high-end or specialist projects is a real advantage.

The role is full time, Monday - Friday 7.00am - 4.00pm
