Job Summary


We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Workshop Manager to oversee the daily operations of our workshop. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge and experience in equipment repair, ensuring that all tasks are carried out efficiently and to a high standard. This role requires excellent customer service skills, as you will be interacting with clients and managing a team of technicians. The Workshop Manager will be responsible for maintaining workshop equipment, overseeing assembly processes, and ensuring safety protocols are adhered to at all times.

Responsibilities



Supervise daily workshop operations and manage a team of technicians. Maintain workshop equipment and ensure all tools are in good working condition. Perform equipment repairs and troubleshooting as needed. Assemble products according to schematics and specifications. Utilise power tools and hand tools safely and effectively. Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client inquiries and concerns. Train staff on proper use of equipment, safety procedures, and best practices. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the workshop environment. Conduct regular inspections of the workshop to identify areas for improvement.

Requirements



Proven experience in a similar role or relevant mechanical background. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to read schematics. Proficient in using power tools and hand tools safely. Ability to perform heavy lifting as required during assembly or repairs. Excellent customer service skills with a focus on client satisfaction. Strong organisational skills with attention to detail. Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. Previous experience in equipment repair is highly desirable.

Pay: 48,000.00-52,000.00 per year
