Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Workshop Service Technician / Foreman to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and supervising workshop activities, ensuring that all service tasks are performed efficiently and to the highest standards. This role is ideal for someone who wants to progress into a supervisory position with a strong technical background, attention to detail and the ability to work on own initiative.

Responsibilities

Manage daily workshop operations, ensuring all tasks are completed on time and to quality standards. Supervise a team of technicians, providing guidance and support as needed. Conduct diagnostics and repairs on all makes of vehicles Maintain accurate records of service activities, including parts used and time spent on each task. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the workshop. Maintain good communicate with customers and all other departments to improve service delivery. Drive performance of workshop to achieve set targets

Experience

Previous experience in a workshop or technical service environment is essential. Ability to manage and supervise workshop staff effectively. Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on delivering high-quality results. Familiarity with relevant tools, equipment, and repair techniques is advantageous. Good communication skills, both verbal and written, to liaise with team members and customers effectively.
