Workshop Technician

Summit Aviation Ltd is an established maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) centre specialising in support for JT3D, JT8D and CFM56-3 engines. As we continue to expand our capabilities, we are seeking a skilled Workshop Technician with hands-on CFM56 experience to join our growing team.

Key Responsibilities

Strip, inspect, repair and reassemble CFM56 series engines and modules to approved data. Carry out precision measurements, defect reporting, and build documentation. Perform engine modifications, repairs and part replacements to OEM and regulatory standards. Assist with on wing support, as required. Investigate and rectify technical issues, implementing corrective actions. Support test cell operations and engine performance runs. Uphold strict health, safety and quality standards in accordance with EASA/CAA/FAA Part 145.

What We're Looking For

Proven experience working on CFM56 engines in an MRO/overhaul environment. Strong technical skills in engine disassembly/assembly and component inspection. Ability to interpret OEM manuals, SBs and ADs. Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality. Right to work in the UK.
