Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated Workshop Technician to join our team. This hands-on role involves assisting in day-to-day workshop operations including packing orders, general workshop duties, manufacturing small components and sub-assembly work for our machinery products. You will play an important part in ensuring our products are built, prepared and shipped globally to the highest standard.

Duties

Carry out sub-assembly tasks for machinery, equipment and ancillaries. Pick, pack and prepare customer orders for dispatch. Maintain a clean, organised and safe workshop environment. Assist with general workshop tasks, including stock handling, labelling and basic maintenance. Follow production schedules and quality control procedures. Support engineers and senior technicians with assembly and testing as required. Perform lifting tasks safely when handling large or bulky components Maintain accurate records of service activities and repairs undertaken Assist with equipment installation and upgrades as required Ensure all workshop activities comply with health and safety regulations

Requirements

Previous experience in workshop, manufacturing or assembly environment preferred but not essential as training given on-site. Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools. Good mechanical aptitude and attention to details. Strong knowledge of assembly processes and maintenance procedures Good physical fitness for lifting and manual tasks Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail Positive attitude, reliability and willingness to learn.

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: From 12,698.40 per year

Expected hours: No less than 20 per week
