Overview

This position involves preparing machinery for dealers and customers as part of a dynamic team of technicians at the Manitou UK headquarters in Verwood, Dorset.

Key Responsibilities:

Applying product knowledge and utilizing technical tools to complete assigned tasks. Demonstrating proficiency in mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and diagnostic aspects. Maintaining a professional demeanor in communications with internal staff, dealers, and customers. Completing tasks assigned by the Workshop Supervisor within set deadlines. Providing support to the Sales, After-sales, and Marketing departments as requested. Collaborating with the Workshop team to achieve departmental objectives. Assisting with the unloading of machinery from shipping containers when necessary.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Expertise in the capital equipment market, particularly in mechanics, hydraulics, power, and electrical systems. Experience in the repair and maintenance of construction, agricultural, industrial, and aerial work platforms. Ability to execute time-sensitive tasks with professionalism. Strong problem-solving abilities and adaptability to various situations. Computer literacy is essential. Excellent oral and written communication skills. High level of motivation and diligence for multitasking and maintaining accuracy. Effective time management skills. Possession of a full UK Driving Licence.

Beneficial Qualifications:

Formal training in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent to NVQ level 2.

Base Pay: 30,000.00-35,000.00 per year
