Job Description

The Role

Were looking for a hands-on, organised, and proactive individual to take responsibility for our yard and tool room operations.

Youll be in charge of keeping our tools, equipment, and materials in order ensuring the space is clean, safe, and well-run, and that our masons and fitters have everything they need for their work.

Key Responsibilities

Maintain the yard and tool room to a high standard of cleanliness and organisation. Manage inventory of tools, materials, and consumables. Issue and track tools and equipment to team members. Arrange servicing, repairs, and maintenance of tools and machinery. Oversee deliveries, collections, and material storage. Ensure safe and efficient use of yard space. Uphold high standards of health, safety, and housekeeping.

About You

Essential:

Previous experience in a yard, stores, or workshop environment. Forklift licence (or willingness to train). Driving licence. Strong organisational and practical skills. Confident handling tools, equipment, and materials. Reliable, responsible, and able to work independently. Health & Safetyconscious with attention to detail.

Desirable:

Experience in a

construction, stonemasonry, or manufacturing

environment. Computer skills for inventory tracking.
