Join Our Team at Athena Worksurfaces - Labourer Wanted!

We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Worksurface Installer's Labourer to support our installation teams on site. The role involves assisting installers with the handling, preparation, and fitting of kitchen worksurfaces, ensuring all work is carried out safely, efficiently, and to company standards. This is a hands-on role that requires physical strength, attention to detail, and a strong work ethic.

Key Responsibilities

Assist installers in loading, unloading, and safely moving heavy worksurfaces (quartz, granite, and porcelain). Prepare work areas by setting up tools, equipment, and materials as instructed. Support with cut-outs, polishing, sealing, and finishing tasks under supervision. Keep the work area clean, tidy, and safe throughout the installation process. Handle and operate hand tools and power tools (training provided). Dispose of waste materials and packaging responsibly. Follow all company health & safety policies, including manual handling and PPE requirements. Communicate effectively with the installer and site teams to ensure smooth workflow. Carry out any additional duties to support the installation team as required.

Skills & Experience

Previous labouring, construction, or trade experience (preferred but not essential). Physically fit and able to lift and handle heavy materials safely. Basic understanding of hand tools and power tools (training provided if required). Reliable, punctual, and hardworking with a positive attitude. Ability to follow instructions and work well as part of a team. CSCS card (preferred but not essential). Full UK driving licence (advantageous).
