Join Our Team at Athena Worksurfaces - Fitter Wanted!

We are looking for a skilled and reliable Worksurface Installer to join our installations team. The successful candidate will be responsible for fitting a range of high-quality kitchen and work surfaces (including quartz, granite, porcelain ) in customers' homes and on construction sites. You will ensure all installations meet company quality standards, health, and safety requirements, and provide excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities

Install a variety of worksurfaces to the highest standard, ensuring precise fitting, finishing, and alignment. Carry out site assessments and checks before installation to confirm readiness and highlight potential issues. Safely handle, transport, and fit heavy materials using appropriate equipment and techniques. Carry out adjustments, cut-outs, and finishing work (such as sink and tap fittings). Ensure installations are completed within agreed timescales and meet company quality standards. Maintain a clean and safe working environment on site, leaving all areas tidy after completion. Communicate professionally with customers, site managers, and office teams to resolve queries or issues. Report back on completed works, remedials, and site conditions, using company reporting systems. Adhere to all health & safety regulations, including correct use of PPE and manual handling practices.

Skills & Experience

Proven experience in fitting kitchen work surfaces (quartz, granite, and porcelain worksurfaces. Strong practical skills with hand tools, power tools, and finishing equipment. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings/templates. Excellent attention to detail and quality workmanship. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team. Good communication and customer service skills. Full UK driving licence (essential). CSCS card (essential).
