North End Baptist Church are seeking a passionate and talented individual to join our vibrant church community as a part-time Worship Leader/Pastor. This role is crucial in leading our congregation into authentic and meaningful worship experiences that glorify God and inspire spiritual growth.

We are a lively, family and community-orientated Baptist Church in North End, Portsmouth.

- Lead & manage the delivery of meaningful worship at our Sunday Services creating a dynamic worship atmosphere.

- Develop rotas and provide motivating practice sessions

- Recruit, train, and mentor worship team members, fostering a spirit of unity and excellence in musical and spiritual development.

- Collaborate with pastoral staff and volunteers to plan and coordinate worship services, special events, and seasonal celebrations.

- Cultivate a worship culture that values creativity, authenticity, and the presence of God.

- Stay current with trends in worship music and technology, integrating innovative elements into worship services.

- Participate in planning sessions, and other church activities as needed.

Qualifications

- Be musically talented and able to lead a group of musicians to provide music in a church or ministry setting.

- Experience in leading congregational worship with a blend of contemporary and traditional music styles.

- Ability to recruit, train, and develop worship team members, equipping them for ministry.

- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

- Familiarity with worship technology and software

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: 13.00 per hour

Expected hours: 6 - 8 per week
