Wraparound Care Assistant (start date TBC)

Primary School in Hammersmith, W6

Hours:

4:30pm - 6pm, Monday - Friday (term time)

Contract:

Part-time / Term-time only

Role Overview

We are seeking a

friendly, reliable and enthusiastic Wraparound Care Assistant

to support children after their extracurrciular activties. This role plays a vital part in providing a

safe, happy and nurturing environment

after the school day.

You will work as part of a small team to supervise children, lead activities, and support their wellbeing, ensuring they feel settled, engaged and cared for.

Key Responsibilities

Supervise and engage children aged 4-11 in a safe and supportive environment Lead and support fun, age-appropriate activities (games, crafts, quiet play, outdoor play) Encourage positive behaviour, teamwork and inclusion Support children with snacks and routines Maintain a calm, welcoming atmosphere at all times Follow school safeguarding, health & safety and behaviour policies Communicate positively with colleagues, parents and school staff
What We're Looking For

Experience working with children (school, childcare, clubs or similar) A caring, patient and enthusiastic approach Ability to build positive relationships with children Good communication and teamwork skills Reliable, punctual and organised A commitment to safeguarding and promoting children's wellbeing
(Relevant childcare qualifications are desirable but not essential -- training can be provided.)

Pay: 14.00-15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 7.5 per week
