We are looking for wrap around care play workers to join our lovely team at our popular, expanding and busy Bramley Church of England Primary School Club. Experience is not necessary as training will be given.


The role of the play worker is to ensure our pupils are safe in our care and enjoy their time with us, whether it is before school, after school or both.


You will need to set up, clear away activities relevant to ages, supervise and engage play and serve breakfast or after school snacks. It is essential that you are aware of allergies and medical issues of our pupils that are within your care. Food hygiene and first aid training will be given alongside the confidential pupil information. Our pupils range in age from 4 to 11 years. At times, you may be required to follow a pupils individual health care plan, again training will be given.


The following sessions are available:


Monday and Tuesday mornings from 7.15/7.20am until 8.30/8.35am


(1hr 15 mins per session).


Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday (ad-hoc Friday) after school sessions from 2.45-6pm


(3hrs 15 mins per session)


The sessions can be filled by one employee or shared between numerous employees to enable work life balance. The positions are currently fixed term until the end of this academic year (July 2026) but with an option for an extension based on pupil numbers in attendance.

The position will be open until 25th October 2025, with interviews held for short-listed candidates shortly after.
