Your Role as a Playworker:
You'll be a key part of our team, helping to create magical, safe, and stimulating play experiences that children will love and remember.
Key Responsibilities:
Bring the Fun
- Help plan and deliver a variety of engaging activities that encourage creativity, confidence, and laughter.
Support Daily Operations
- Assist with setting up, tidying, preparing snacks, and general club duties to keep things running smoothly.
Keep Children Safe & Happy
- Supervise children with care and energy, maintaining high standards of safety and wellbeing.
Be a Friendly Face
- Build strong, positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.
Get Involved
- Encourage children's ideas, help with club admin when needed, and be a team player in every way.
What We're Looking For:
Must-Haves:
? Experience working with children aged 4-11 in a childcare, school, or play setting
? A love for play and a caring, inclusive attitude
? Good communication and teamwork skills
? A proactive, can-do mindset
? Basic understanding of safeguarding and child development
? Sufficient English to ensure children's wellbeing and effective communication
Bonus Qualities (We'd Love to See!):
Experience in a play-based environment
Relevant Level 2 or 3 childcare/playwork qualification (or willingness to work towards one)
Paediatric First Aid and Food Hygiene Certificates (or willingness to obtain)
Confidence using basic IT for communication or admin
Understanding of EYFS or school-age childcare standards
