Job summary

: During term time, the Wraparound Care Manager is responsible for managing the day to day operation of a schools wraparound care program, ensuring a safe and stimulating environment for the children in attendance.

During the school holidays, we require this person to adapt their management skills, and take on the role of a Holiday Camp Manager. Our holiday camps are designed around fun, and allow the children to try lots of different sports and activities throughout the day.

Who are we?

Munchkin Sports are a children's sports company, who focus on gently introducing 2-11 year olds into sport. We run a range of provisions including Afterschool clubs, Wraparound Care, Weekend Sessions and Holiday Camps.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead and manage a full time Assistant Manager and multiple Casual Coaches who form the wrap around care team including staff rotas, training, development and performance management. You will be required to manage your team during the holiday periods too, and ensure your staff know what they are doing for the day.

- Responsible for delivering the teams Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

- Oversee the daily operations for the wraparound care provision, including planning activities, managing attendance and ensuring a safe and inclusive environment. During the holidays, you'll be responsible for ensuring all the administration is up to date, and planning activities for the next day. This includes keeping on top of registers and medical forms.

- Ensure the operation is compliant with the schools policies and procedures relating to child protection, safeguarding and health and safety.

- Ensure the service meets Ofsted's and any other regulatory body requirements

- Provide excellent customer service to the children, their parents, guardian and carers

- Manage the day to day relationship with the client school

Experience in a similar role is preferred.

Term Time:

You will be managing the breakfast club and wraparound care provision.

Holiday Camp:

You will be responsible for running and managing the holiday camp.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: 30,000.00 per year
