About the Role

We are looking for a candidate who can confidently and competantly lead the daily after school childcare club at an amazing school in Watford.

Each day between 15-25 children attend our club from 3.10pm - 6pm. We are looking for leaders who can work consistently, build appropriate and positive relationships with children and make sure the club is FUN for all who attend.

Leaders should be positive, full of energy and confident with experience in working with children, leading activities, games or sport with children and, ideally, have experience in leading and managing a setting (non essential).

Successful candidates will be able to showcase, over a practical interview, that that they can take control of a group, settling children when they come, take a register, layout a structure of activities and then engage with children in an appropriate, safe and fun way.

We have 3pm - 6pm shifts available, Monday - Friday in Watford at 15 - 18 ph

You will be responsible for:

? Registering children when they arrive at the course and communicating with management if any children aren't present

? Playing games / participating in games with groups of children, ensuring they are having fun, playing fairly and having a good time on the course

? Reporting any first aid incidents

? Communicating with parents, the school and other leaders about activities and how children have been getting on

? Organised: You have to be on time, understanding where you need to be and when you need to be there and what your role is within the group

? Good Communicators: Can you give good feedback, pass on reliable information and communicate with children and adults effectively to ensure parents trust you and children respect
