Wraparound Childcare Leader

Term-Time Only | 12.50 - 13.50 p/h | October 2025 Start

Locations: Fordham Primary School (23 hrs/week) and Great Bentley Primary (25hrs/week), Colchester

Morning and Afternoon sessions, Monday to Friday

Looking to step up in your childcare career? Use your experience and leadership skills to guide a small, friendly team delivering fun and safe before and after school activities for children aged 4-11.

Join us as a Wraparound Childcare Leader and help shape the wraparound care experience at one of two Colchester schools: Fordham Primary or Great Bentley Primary.

What You'll Do

Create a fun, inclusive, and welcoming environment before and after school Lead and supervise a small team delivering high-quality wraparound care Plan and run engaging, age-appropriate activities for children Ensure all safeguarding, health & safety, and admin tasks are completed to a high standard Build great relationships with children, parents, and school staff

What We're Looking For

Level 2+ qualification in Childcare, Playwork, or similar Experience working with primary-aged children in schools or clubs Leadership or supervisory experience Strong safeguarding knowledge and basic IT skills
