Primary Sports Academy
are looking to recruit an
energetic and enthusiastic individual
to lead
breakfast and after-school wraparound childcare clubs, as well as holiday camps
in one of our Macclesfield partner primary schools.
This role involves creating a safe, fun, and engaging environment for children at the beginning and end of the school day. It is
not a sports coaching position
, though activities can include active games and physical play. A specific sports coach will work alongside you to deliver sports games while you offer creative activities to the children.
We are seeking candidates who are passionate about working with children and can bring creativity and care to each session.
This will be a self-employed position that is contracted to Primary Sports Academy on a permanent basis. This can be discussed further at interview.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and deliver a variety of engaging, fun activities suitable for primary-aged children.
Create a safe, inclusive, and nurturing environment.
Prepare light snacks, manage the club setup and tidy-up at the end.
Encourage active play, teamwork, and positive social interactions.
We are looking for someone who is:

Punctual, reliable, and professional.
Confident in managing group behaviour in a fun and respectful way.
Able to adapt activities to suit different age groups and abilities.
Friendly, approachable, and a great communicator.
Qualifications and Experience:
Essential:
Minimum 2 years of experience working with children in a professional setting.
Early years qualification.
Full driving licence.
Paediatric First Aid (Level 3).
Safeguarding training.
Enhanced DBS check.
To be able to follow and implement policies and procedures
Be reliable and able to work both mornings and afternoons during term time, as well as full days during the school holidays
Be organised and able to articulate well in communication with parents, staff and children
To help to develop and maintain good relationships and communications with parents/carers/school/staff to facilitate day-to-day positive relationships
Desirable:
Experience working in a primary school setting.
Available and willing to commit to holiday camps during the school holidays.

Pay: 13/hour (equivalent to 18,000 salary).
