About this Role

Part Time. 20 hours per week Term-Time + 157.5 hours per year (Holiday Club). Term Time Hours - Monday to Friday 7.30am-9am and 3pm-5.30pm.

Holiday Club (October, February, Easter, May, and 2x weeks of summer - 21 days in total): 8am?-?4pm.

We are seeking a

Wraparound Playworker Assistant

to join our friendly and dedicated team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone enthusiastic and caring to support children's wellbeing and learning in a safe, nurturing environment. Our school-led wraparound provision offers seamless care and learning support from Pre-School to Year 6. Children benefit from full access to school resources and a consistent approach to behaviour management and safeguarding, aligned with all school policies.

Located next to Temple Newsam, we take advantage of wonderful local opportunities to enhance learning beyond the classroom. Following the recent opening of our Pre-School, we have expanded our wraparound provision to support more families and provide a continuous, integrated approach to early years and primary education.

To be a good fit for this role, you will be:

A professional individual with experience of providing pastoral support to young people A compassionate and adaptable individual who demonstrates a strong commitment to meeting the diverse needs of all pupils Committed to building positive relationships with students, fostering respect while maintaining high expectations A clear communicator with excellent organisation skills, able to balance firmness with empathy and build relationships with a wide range of individuals
