Wrexham AFC is looking for a dedicated and innovative

Data Analyst

to join our Medical and Performance Department. This role plays a key part in enhancing player performance and development by collecting, analysing, and presenting data across GPS, wellbeing, and physical performance markers. You will collaborate with sports science, medical, and coaching staff to drive data-informed decisions and develop interactive performance insights using tools like Power BI or Tableau.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead on GPS, wellbeing, and performance data collection and presentation Develop interactive dashboards and visual reports for staff and players Manage data integration with performance software platforms (e.g. Train My Athlete) Contribute to research, innovation, and internal CPD programmes Support physical, gym, and recovery sessions as required

Requirements:

BSc/MSc in Sport & Exercise Science, Data Analysis, or related field Experience in elite sport Proficiency in Power BI, Tableau, and performance data tools Strong communication, time management, and teamwork skills Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and travel as required
An Enhanced DBS check is required for this role.
Welsh language skills are a distinct advantage.
