Wrexham AFC is looking for a talented and driven Media Executive to support the Academy and Wrexham AFC Foundation. The successful candidate will play a key role in creating and managing engaging multimedia content across the Club's digital platforms, including social media, website, live streaming and print publications such as the matchday programme.

Key Responsibilities:



Support the Head of Media and Communications in delivering day-to-day and long-term communications plans. Produce engaging written, video, audio and graphic content for a variety of channels. Write and edit material for the Club's website, newsletters, matchday programme and internal comms. Support Club-led events with design, presentations and printed collateral. Manage supporter queries on social media in a timely and professional manner. Ensure all content aligns with the Club's brand and tone of voice. Provide media support on matchdays and during key events. Work with internal and external stakeholders to support communications objectives. Maintain and update the Club's content calendar. Produce analytics reports to inform performance and KPIs. Support CRM strategies to help grow audience engagement and database reach.

What We're Looking For:



At least 2 years' experience in a media, PR, or marketing role--preferably in sport or entertainment. A relevant degree (e.g. Media, Journalism, PR, Marketing) or equivalent experience. Strong writing, filming, editing, photography and graphic design skills. Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects). Experience managing content across digital and social media platforms. Ability to work in a fast-paced football environment, including evenings and weekends as required. Excellent communication, project management and stakeholder engagement skills. A strong understanding of branding and tone of voice. Passion for football and a commitment to equality, safeguarding and health & safety practices.
