About the role

We are seeking a skilled and efficient News Writer to join our content team. As a News Writer, you will be responsible for producing timely, accurate news articles covering the online gambling industry, including regulatory updates, operator announcements, product launches, market trends, and industry developments.



Using AI-assisted workflows, you will deliver high-volume daily news coverage while maintaining journalistic standards and editorial quality. Your work will be essential in keeping our audience informed and driving consistent traffic to our platforms.

Roles & Responsibilities:

Research and write 4 news articles daily (20 per week) covering breaking news and developments in the iGaming industry Leverage AI tools to efficiently generate news content, then edit and enhance articles to meet journalistic standards Fact-check all AI-generated content and verify information from multiple authoritative sources Write in clear, concise journalistic style with proper attribution and source citation Optimize news content for SEO while maintaining readability and editorial integrity Monitor industry news sources, press releases, and regulatory announcements to identify timely story opportunities Meet daily publication deadlines and maintain consistent output quality Collaborate with editorial team to ensure brand voice consistency and adherence to editorial guidelines Proofread and refine content to ensure accuracy, clarity, and compliance with journalistic standards

Requirements:

Native-level proficiency in English is essential.

Candidates who do not meet this standard will not be considered.

Proven experience writing news articles in journalistic style

(inverted pyramid structure, AP style, or similar)

Demonstrated experience using AI tools

(ChatGPT, Claude, or similar) to create and enhance written content

Knowledge of the iGaming/online gambling industry

, including key operators, regulations, and market dynamics

Bonus points

for anyone with an existing following or active presence within the iGaming community (e.g., Twitter, Reddit, Discord, or forums) -- we're especially interested in writers who already engage with players and fans. Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills with strong attention to detail and accuracy Strong fact-checking and research abilities to verify information quickly and thoroughly Understanding of SEO best practices for news content and headline optimization Ability to work independently, manage high daily output, and consistently meet tight deadlines Excellent time management skills and ability to prioritize in a fast-paced news environment Strong communication skills and responsiveness to editorial feedback Flexibility to adapt to evolving AI tools, workflows, and editorial standards
