Yard Administrator




OCU Group is seeking an Administrator to join our busy yard team based in Stourton, Leeds.


The purpose of a Yard Administrator is to support the day-to-day administrative operations within our busy yard. They will act as the central point of communication between the yard team, plant and other office departments, ensuring efficient coordination of goods out, goods in and documentation relating to stock.

Duties and Responsibilities:



Maintain accurate records of incoming and outgoing deliveries Update systems with stock movements Prepare and issue delivery/collection notes and documentation Liaise with warehouse operatives, and office staff to coordinate stock movements Monitor yard safety procedures and report any incidents or hazards Complete inventory control and stocktaking Maintain and update data on client systems and internal systems Processing stock orders for the yard Maintain records for compliance purposes (e.g. waste transfer notes, vehicle checks) Handle general administrative duties including filing, scanning, and data entry Provide support to Yard Manager and assist in other duties as required Ad hoc physical yard duties

Skills and Experience:



Previous experience in an administrative role, preferably in a logistics and warehousing Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) Excellent organisational and communication skills Ability to work independently and under pressure in a fast-paced environment Good attention to detail and accuracy Understanding of health & safety in a yard or warehouse setting is an advantage Experience using warehouse management or logistics software (desirable)
