Interested in working in a merchant environment? A position has become available to work in our Greenock warehouse/yard.

Build Depot

is a Heavyside and Lightside builders' merchant serving Trade and Public customers in central Scotland via it's network of 4 branches, established in 1997.

Fixed hours of Monday - Friday, 8.00am-5.00pm and alternate Saturdays 8am-1pm.

The successful candidate will have a pleasant manner when dealing with customers and colleagues and will be a good team member within our busy environment. Good communication skills are essential. There is physical manual handling required in this position.

A well established and long standing business with many opportunities for progression, promotion as well as transfers to different departments/branches when opportunities arise.

Responsibilities and Duties

Asses each customers' needs ensuring that they have the correct materials for their order

Adhere to all company procedures and policies on customer satisfaction & health and safety

Loading customer vehicles

Serving customers

Stock checking

Loading and unloading company vehicles

Loading and unloading supplier vehicles

Replenishing stock and housekeeping
