Job Summary:
We are looking for a reliable, hardworking
Yard Assistant
to join our team and support the day-to-day upkeep of our vehicles and premises. This hands-on role is essential to ensuring our fleet is maintained to a high standard of cleanliness and our yard and garage areas remain safe and tidy.Key Responsibilities:
Thorough cleaning of coaches inside and out, maintaining a high standard of presentation. Cleaning of car interiors and exteriors to a high standard. Regular cleaning and sanitising of coach toilets to ensure hygiene standards are met. General maintenance of the yard and surrounding areas. Keeping the yard, garage, and working spaces tidy, organised, and free from hazards. Supporting other team members as needed with ad-hoc cleaning or maintenance tasks.
Preferred (but not essential):
A full UK driving licence to assist with: Moving cars around the yard or site. Taking vehicles to and from the garage for servicing or repairs.
Ideal Candidate Will:
Have a strong work ethic and attention to detail. Take pride in keeping vehicles and facilities clean and well maintained. Be self-motivated and able to work independently or as part of a team. Be punctual, dependable, and proactive.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: From 13.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 16 per week
