Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Assistant to join our dynamic team. This role requires a hardworking person to load and unload lorries, forklift training will be given when necessary. Knowledge and the ability to perform heavy lifting. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse, contributing to the overall efficiency of our operations.
Responsibilities
Assist in the loading and unloading of goods from lorries Manage inventory using a Warehouse Management System (WMS) Perform shipping and receiving duties, ensuring all items are accounted for and properly documented Handle materials with care, adhering to safety protocols at all times Maintain a clean and organised work environment Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of tasks Provide support in construction projects as needed, utilising mechanical knowledge
Qualifications
Strong mechanical knowledge and aptitude for handling equipment Ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 25 kg) regularly Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills Strong communication skills and ability to work well within a team environment
