Yard Foreman - Part Time PM Shift

16:00-20:30

Location:

Chard, Somerset

Job Type:

22.5hrs per week, Monday to Friday. There may be a requirement to work the occasional Saturday if required for the operation.

We have a vacancy for a Yard Foreman with a Counterbalance Fork Lift Truck Licence working for a high profile and fast-moving family-owned Transport and Distribution Service - based in Chard, Somerset.

To be responsible for marshalling of the Depot and warehouse functions at C & D Southwest

We are currently looking for a new team member to join our team. You will play an integral part in our operation by ensuring that the warehousing requirements are met.

The Role:

Working in a fast-based Warehouse, daily duties will include;

Counterbalance forklift license required 2 years experience of using Zebra scanning devise would be desirable To be thorough and pay attention to detail Excellent verbal communication skills To marshall a very busy depot To ensure correct goods are loaded on correct vehicles at all times with no damage

Essential Skills:

Current Counterbalance Fork Lift Truck Licence (Refresher can be given if needed)

Excellent customer service and communication skills

Supervisor Skills

Knowledge of or experience in a pallet network (advantageous)
