Wern-wood is seeking a driven Yard Manager to run operations at our busy South Wales site. This is a genuine long-term opportunity with a company that's growing fast and here to stay.

What You'll Do:

Be the

first point of contact for customers

in the yard--representing Wern-wood with professionalism and a solutions-focused attitude. Delegate daily tasks and responsibilities to yard operatives, ensuring efficient workflow and high standards. Take full ownership of yard and warehouse operations--organization, safety, and process improvement. Lead, organise and develop a dedicated team. Oversee goods-in, dispatch, inventory, and site management. Work closely with managment , sales & customer service to guarantee top-level customer & order fulfillment.

What We're Looking For:

Previous merchant experience is required

(timber/building materials preferred). Proven team leadership and organizational skills. Forklift license/experience essential. Physically fit, reliable, and professional.
