The hours of work and shift patterns are:

week 1: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday - 5am -3:30pm week 2: Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday - 5am -3:30pm week 3: Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday - 5am -3:30pm

The rates of pay are: 14.08ph

Main Responsibilities:

Our Yard Operations Skilled Operative will be responsible for:

Ensure that the site is legally & contractually compliant in all areas and to actively promote health & safety and Food Safety, immediately halting any un-safe working practices & taking appropriate action to remedy.

Demonstrate good knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)

To correctly and effectively carry out the required functions, once trained to do so, in any area of the factory.

Complete daily pre-start checks on both chilled blood and viscera skids are completed on time and all issues and concerns are reported to the production supervisor and site team as appropriate.

Ensure the cleanliness of and correct filling of bulkers and tankers.

Ensure the cleanliness of chilled blood and viscera skids and the surrounding areas.

Ensure correct loading of chilled blood and viscera products to tankers, liaising with third-party tanker drivers to ensure the correct procedure is followed.

Assist when required with the loading of Export orders, ensuring product specification is met and all documentation is correctly supplied.

To maintain high standards of personal hygiene and presentation during working hours

Produce each product to specification.

At all times act in the best interests of 2SFG, its employees, its brands, 2SFG customers and the final consumers of the products manufactured by 2SFG. Participate in developing and embedding a quality focused culture of behavioural food safety to enable continuous improvement to standards To undertake such other duties as may be reasonably required for the effective operation of the factory and unit.

Ideal Candidate:

The successful candidate will:

Able to communicate in English Basic numeracy and literacy skills Good hand/eye coordination Able to work to tight deadlines. Food Safety Level 2 H&S level 2 FLT license - or willing to train Experience of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) Experience of working in a Food Manufacturing environment,
