Job Description

Due to our steady growth and expansion, we're looking for a General Yard Operative to assist us in our busy depot in Littlehampton.

This is a varied and very active role, and an ideal opportunity to learn all aspects of the yard operations, including operating machinery (excavators, dumpers etc), operating the weighbridge, directing and advising customers, as well as gerneral maintenance and upkeep of the premises etc - (training will be given as necessary).

Primarily working outside, you'll need to be physically fit, and happy to work in all weathers.

You'll have to demonstrate initiative, reliability and enthusiasm, have great communication skills, be able to follow instructions, and always have full awareness of the environment, showing compliance with all Health, Safety and Site Procedures.

This is a full time position, Monday to Friday, and Saturday mornings on a rota basis.

Salary is negotiable, commensurate on experience.
