Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Yard Operative to join our team, responsible for maintaining the yard and stores keeping the tidy and hazard free, loading and unloading lorries, assisting customers with their purchases etc

The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, good initiative and be motivated to work well as part of a team.

This position is Monday to Friday 7.30-5.30pm and Saturdays 7.30-12.30pm, hourly rate is negotiable due to experience and aptitude

Requirements

Prior experience or knowledge in activities similar setting is preferred. Knowledge relevant to operating general equipment. Ability to handle hand tools safely and effectively. Physical fitness to perform manual labour including lifting for extended periods. Strong organisational skills with attention to detail in maintaining the store and yard Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions. A proactive attitude with a willingness to learn new skills.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: 12.21-14.00 per hour

Expected hours: 45 per week
