Duties
Load and unload materials using appropriate equipment, ensuring the safe loading and off-loading of vehicles collecting and delivering to and from the yard Ensure that goods are checked off in an accurate and timely manner checking for damages, correct quantities and that records are updated accordingly Move material/items between different stages of the production process ensuring smooth production flow and avoiding disruptions/delays Prepare orders for internal and external dispatch ensuring required labelling and paperwork is properly completed Assist drivers to ensure all materials are secure on vehicles to enable safe transportation and to avoid any loss or damage Assist with the organisation and management of the yard area to optimise space utilisation Handle materials carefully, ensuring they are stored correctly and safely within the yard Prepare goods for dispatch or receipt Follow health and safety procedures diligently during all activities to minimise risks
Essential:
2+ years experience working within a yard in an engineering environment Ability to load and unload heavy items safely and efficiently Forklift license B1 + B2 Side loader lift truck Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment

Pay: 13.50-15.00 per hour
