Yard Operatives - Temporary to Permanent Opportunity
Near Lewes, Haywards Heath, Burgess Hill, East Sussex | Leading Building Materials Manufacturer
12.21/hour | Monday to Thursday, 6:45 AM - 5:00 PM
We're recruiting Yard Operatives for a UK-leading manufacturer of building materials at one of its busy production sites near Lewes, Haywards Heath, and Burgess Hill in East Sussex. This is a temporary to permanent opportunity.

6:45 AM - 5:00 PM day shifts
12.21/hour starting rate
Temporary to permanent after a successful probation period

Role Responsibilities:

Picking and packing finished goods for dispatch
Working in a busy warehouse and stock yard
Loading and unloading vehicles
Moving raw materials and completed products
Completing basic paperwork
Manual handling duties
Supporting other departments during peak periods

What We're Looking For:

Experience in a fast-paced warehouse, yard, or production environment
Good literacy, numeracy, and communication skills
Willingness to carry out physical, hands-on work
Counterbalance FLT licence is an advantage
Basic computer literacy (training provided)
Reliable, punctual, and a strong team player
Own transport is essential due to the rural location
