Yard Man

to join our dynamic team.

As Yard Man, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our yard, handling a wide range of JCB machinery and related plant equipment. This position requires a hands-on approach with a strong focus on safety, organisation, and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

Safely load and unload all items of plant equipment entering or exiting the yard. Park machinery neatly and securely to ensure operational efficiency and safety. Conduct inductions for visitors to the yard, ensuring all protocols are followed. Maintain the yard's cleanliness and organisation at all times to uphold safety standards.

Qualifications & Experience:

Previous experience managing plant equipment or working within the construction industry is highly desirable. A positive attitude and flexible approach to work are essential to ensure a smooth operation. Strong communication and organisational skills to interact effectively with staff, customers, and visitors. Experience dealing with suppliers and customers within the yard and also in the office.

Essential Skills

Can do attitude. The ability to be able to work on their own as well as within the busy Lincoln team. Good communication skills. Full driving license. Machine license to be discussed. The drive to learn & to adapt to new technology.
