We are seeking a dedicated Scaffolding Yard Operative to join our team and assist with a variety of outdoor maintenance and construction tasks.

This is a position suitable for a self employed operative. A CSCS card is desirable but not essential. The successful candidate will be comfortable working in a physically demanding environment, have a keen eye for detail, practical skills in operating tools and machinery, and a strong work ethic. This position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals interested in construction-related activities to develop their skills within a supportive team.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to

Operate power tools such as hand tools safely and efficiently. Loading and unloading scaffolding kit and equipment Assist with general maintenance tasks around the yard or construction site, including cleaning and minor repairs. Support excavation activities and site preparation for construction or landscaping projects. Keeping the yard clear and tidy Maintain safety standards by adhering to health and safety regulations during all operations.

Qualifications

Prior experience in construction is advantageous but not essential; training will be provided. Practical knowledge of hand tools, power tools, and basic mechanical systems is desirable. Strong organisational skills with the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Physical fitness to undertake outdoor labour A proactive attitude towards safety procedures and environmental care. Pay: 105.00 per day
