Yard Operative

to join our busy traffic management team!

Key Responsibilities:

Sign Fabrication:

Assemble and prepare traffic management signage to company standards

Forklift Operation:

Load and unload vehicles and materials using a forklift (valid license required, if you do not hold a valid license; you may be required to obtain this through the company)

Job Preparation:

Help prepare traffic management kits for upcoming jobs, ensuring all equipment is ready and organized

Yard Organisation:

Maintain a clean and safe yard, manage stock, and support general yard duties

Team Support:

Work closely with the operations team to ensure smooth daily workflows
Requirements:

Previous experience in a similar yard or logistics role preferred Forklift license (counterbalance or telehandler) - desirable but not essential A good understanding of health and safety practices Ability to work both independently and as part of a team Reliable, punctual, and willing to get stuck in Driving license - Desirable but not essential.
