We're looking for a reliable and hardworking
Yard Operative
to join our powered access depot in Birmingham. This is a hands-on role supporting the day-to-day running of the yard, ensuring equipment is clean, safe, and ready for hire.Key Responsibilities
Assist with loading and unloading powered access equipment (e.g. boom lifts, scissor lifts, PAVs). Clean and prepare machines for hire and return. Carry out basic visual inspections and report any faults or damage. Maintain a tidy and safe yard environment. Support engineers and drivers with general yard duties. Follow health & safety procedures at all times.
Requirements
Previous experience in a yard, warehouse, or plant hire environment preferred. Physically fit and comfortable working outdoors in all weather. Good attention to detail and a safety-first attitude. Forklift or telehandler licence desirable (training can be provided). Team player with a positive and proactive approach.
