Job Description
Arena provides temporary event services, designing and delivering complete environments for the most prestigious sporting, commercial and cultural occasions in the global calendar. With over 250 years of experience, we have worked in partnership with iconic events including the US Open Championship, Formula E, The Jockey Club, Korea's Presidents Cup, the London 2012 and Rio 2016 Olympics and Her Majesty The Queen's 90th birthday celebrations, to name just a few.
We are currently looking for a capable individual to join our Yard (Ice) team on permanent basis. The role will include picking parts, loading & unloading the lorries, preparing the parts for the construction crew.
The core working hours are 8am to 5pm Monday to Friday, however there is a requirement to frequently work additional hours, including weekends.
A lot of the kit is stored in the open yard, therefore the work often requires being outside.
Working clothes will be provided. Safety boots after 3 months.
Skills and Experience required:
-Accuracy and attention to detail when picking the kit Physically fit - the work requires a lot of manual handling and lifting Willing to work in all weather conditions Counterbalance FLT licence is desired but not essential, as training will be provided Good level of English language A disciplined person, good timekeeping is important Living locally to the St Ives / Huntingdon area
