Job Description

Ashtead Technology are looking for a committed Yard Operative to support our Mechanical Solutions team in Thainstone.

What you'll be doing:

Keeping the yard and warehouse areas clean, tidy, organised, and free from hazards. Load and unload vehicles using forklifts and Banksman / Slinging duties as directed. Maintain the yard layout and outside racking to support safe and efficient operations. General yard maintenance as required. Ensure forklifts and yard equipment are maintained in good working condition and report defects promptly.

What experience you'll bring:

Hands on experience in a similar role A team player with a positive can-do attitude Ability to manage changing priorities, meet deadlines and work on own incitive B1 and B2 Forklift Licence Banksman / Slinger experience (preferred but not essential)
