Are you hands-on, hardworking, and happy getting stuck in? We're looking for a reliable Yard Operative to join our team on a

fixed-term contract from March to the end of September 2026

, covering our busiest and most exciting time of year.

This is a physically active, outdoor role where no two days are the same, perfect for someone who enjoys practical work, teamwork, and seeing the results of their efforts every day.

The Role

As a key member of our yard team, you'll play a vital part in keeping Corker running smoothly during peak season. Your responsibilities will include:

Bagging and handling aggregates and horticultural products Loading and unloading lorries safely and efficiently Keeping the yard clean, organised, and presentable Assisting customers and visitors with orders and vehicle loading Supporting the wider team during busy trading periods
You'll be right at the heart of operations when demand is at its highest ,it's fast-paced, physical, and hugely rewarding.

About You

Comfortable with demanding physical work and outdoor environments Reliable, punctual, and a strong team player Positive attitude with a willingness to muck in during busy periods Previous yard or manual handling experience is beneficial but not essential
